When I was a kid, I spent many summers on Cape Cod crabbing, fishing, riding my bike and hanging on the beach. I knew someday, I'd want to do the same for my family. So we began our search for something near the beach...
Why we chose Wareham...
Parkwood Beach is a great location and offers everything you're looking for on Cape Cod but without the traffic. My wife and I looked for many years before deciding on Wareham and Parkwood Beach. It's a great spot for a family vacation and plenty to do. Enjoy lazy days at the beach, or bring your bikes and kayaks to take advantage of the serene marshes and calm waterways. Plenty of shopping and restaurants are close by, and the Cape Cod Flyer is only minutes away in Wareham Village (www.capecodflyer.com). Take a train ride to either Boston or Hyannis to explore and sightsee.
